Horton Plains
Description

Horton Plains National Park is a spectacular high-altitude plateau in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, situated at an elevation of over 2,100 metres. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to the famous "World's End" ? a sheer cliff with a dramatic 870-metre drop offering sweeping views across the southern plains. Baker's Falls is another highlight, a picturesque waterfall set amid dense cloud forest. The plains support a unique ecosystem with rare wildlife including sambar deer, purple-faced langurs, and a wide variety of endemic birds.
