Description
Arugam Bay is a small fishing village on the southeastern coast of Sri Lanka that has become a globally renowned surfing destination. The main surf point, known simply as "The Point", offers consistent right-hand waves from April to September. Beyond surfing, the area boasts stunning natural beauty, warm hospitality, and proximity to wildlife-rich destinations like Kumana National Park and Pottuvil Lagoon. The bay is also home to beautiful golden beaches, exotic birdlife, and a relaxed backpacker culture.
